Why 9 Out of 10 Food Trucks Still Don’t Record Delivery Temperatures

Food trucks live and die by speed. When three deliveries arrive at once during the lunch rush, the driver wants signing, customers are queuing, and the temptation is to stick everything straight in the fridge and “write it up later”.

Later never comes.

Delivery temperature is one of the first things EHOs ask for. No records for the last month = instant major non-compliance. The fine and re-inspection fee usually cost more than the trader makes in a quiet week.

The fix takes eight seconds: open the app, tap “New Delivery”, point the probe, done. The timestamp is automatic. Most traders who switch say they actually save time because they’re not hunting for the paper sheet and a working pen at 11 pm.
